My growth, my achievements are perhaps the best gifts to you. In the span of a few years since LG training, I have achieved some of the proudest moments of my career, developing a world’s first and being interviewed by CNA, major newspapers and 95.8 FM, modelling for my company’s advertisement, and appointed to head one of my company’s competency programs. The following year I was appointed chairman of my company’s recreation club.

After learning from Lusi Group, I’ve become a better communicator with ‘C’ profile people in the workplace. It was hard for me to get through to them in the past … but now I’m able to adapt more effectively to their working style and that helped me become more productive and happy.

My career stalled for eight years with no explanation. After joining Lusi Group, I learned how to ask the right questions. The truth surfaced. It was never my competence, but my blindspots and environment. With clarity, I moved on and finally achieved the career success I had been waiting for.

I worked hard but stayed stuck for years. I struggled with communication, had no clear goals, and couldn’t convince others of my ideas. After joining Lusi Group, I learned how to communicate with clarity and set real goals. With these skills, I moved up three times faster than the usual timeline and became Deputy Director, a role I once thought was out of reach.

When I joined Lusi Group, my business was in $500k debt and my team avoided me. I blamed them, but deep down I knew something was wrong. Through Lusi Group training, I realised the real issue was my leadership style. I learned how to communicate, set expectations, and listen. Soft skills became the foundation of my business turnaround. Today, I’ve cleared the debt and rebuilt a profitable, committed team.

I followed Lap Pong Sensei’s advice to always speak about the positives first, and address potential challenges later when presenting ideas and solutions. Yesterday, I was discussing a modification to one of our products with my boss. In the past, I would usually start by explaining the downsides of the change before talking about the benefits. Most of the time, that led to a lot of objections and hurdles before getting any approval.

Thanks to LG coaches for all the guidance and wisdom. I just want to share a big win with everyone. Our company accountant reported that our net profit increased by 2.4 times in 2017 compared to 2016. This would not have been possible without the IBCT skills I learned from Coach Lap Pong and the rest of the coaches at Lusi Group. IBCT, together with ELT and SAPT, has helped transform the way I manage people. I now lead more positively and effectively, and I am seeing real breakthroughs, both now and for the future.
